Converter, gears, intake....catback if you want some noise, it'll be stealthy and should run in the 11s on tire with no sweat.

I would go with a air-pressure modification, to make certain you're putting all that power to the ground 32-33psi........

GEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 410 preferred.Best bang for the buck for sure imo. That was the best mod ive done yet for the price.catback is great for sound but dont expect much power, intakes are ok for the price, headers rock!!,but the gears take the cake, besides tuning which makes a huge difference, but if your going to be modding your car you want to do that after the mods.I gained 2 rwhp with a stinger intake and bullet exhaust, then had it tuned and got another 23 rwhp, then headers, xpipe and gears and got another 10rwhp and tuning it that say day gained another 10rwhp,tuning makes a big difference after each mod from my experience. 375 rwhp m6 non z51,the 410s will have you dyno a little lower, but for what it does on the street, its awesome.Your car will feel like a new beast.Good luck in your mods.procharger or cam is in my very near future.

Default Be sensible, what's you budget, and how deep do you want to go

It all depends on how much you want to spend. How fast do you want to go? Sit down and answer these questions first. You listen to some of these guys and they tell you to bolt on a supercharger and go from there. Until you state the parameters you're in, people here are just guessing. There is a lot of knowledge on this forum. It can be very helpful or can screw you up but good. My opinion

, I built my 05 C6 in stages having predetermined where I wanted to be at the end (if there is such a thing!).

Stage 1: Corsa Sports and Dynatech headers
Stage 2: Heads and Cam
Stage 3: Procharger Supercharger

The important thing is to plan ahead, if not, lots of wasted money and possible damage to the car.

Have fun, enjoy and drive safe.

Default Me Too

I just bought an 05 A4 too. Man from what I'm reading the best bang for the deniro are the headers and Tune. Least thats what I'm thinking. Other wise,, just go out and get the car up too about 25 mph and then hammer it.. You just might get a big big surprise,, I know I did,, I never seen a car light up the rears and grab about 5000 rpm like that,, HOLY COW,,, the fruit of the loom guys that were riding with me got a big suprise too

Your first mod should be a driving school. Invest into your driving skills and you're car will feel faster + you'll appreciate your new C6 even more.

IMO

If you want more power don't waste money on exhaust then. Spend the $ and get long-tube headers and just run stock mufflers. You will get improved sound and an increase in hp/tq. For street use get LG LT headers. Most low end torque compared to the others. Add intake and tune and you will be good to go for a little while! Also, Bilstien -sport shocks are a good upgrade for $300.

Now you have some choices. As stated in the above threads, best bang for the buck is a set of long tube headers. The systems include a 3inch Xpipe and cats. That with a tune and say a stinger by Halltech, (a tune by a good tunner), should net you 365rwhp360rwtq. Using a %20 loss for an auto instead of the %15 loss for 6 speeds. You'll like how the car performs. Then if you want later to step up to a cam, or heads and a cam you have the intake and exhaust in place. No back steping. The only loss would be if you did a cam only first, then you would have to change springs on the stock heads. That money is lost if you R&R the heads with aftermarkets like AFR's of ET's. I know because that's the order I did my mods in. Cam first, then 6 months later the ET heads.
Any way stages or all at once, again it's your choice. Good luck

Andreas G.
