Default Help!! Buzzing sound driving me nuts!!!

I have a buzzing sound that is driving me insane!! Mostly hear it when I'm at a stop. I hear a couple of inches below the slot where the seat belt goes into the pillar on the drivers side. I tried the ole " smack everything" technique but no effect whatsoever. Any ideas what it is? How do I take off those plastic covers if I have to?? Thanks!!

Our C6 has the same problem, except it occurs at certain low RPM's under acceleration...almost like a resonance emitted -- similar to what I've experienced with exhaust resonance / vibration on other cars -- only difference is that this noise is coming from the door latch / seat belt anchor point near the driver's head.

Try pressing hard on all those round fasteners in that area.

Also pull the seat belt out ALL the way after you buckle it,
and let it retract, it will rachet tighter keeping tension on the belt when you do this.
Try that a few times, I had a noise and after I did that a few times it was gone.
