first Shake Down run
When I start the car (radio off) I get a static noise from the speakers for just an instant, is that normal?
Also, since I am taking it easy on the car right now I notice a little valve noise while driving below 50. It kinda sounds like detonation but very quiet. Is that something normal to c6? Its great that I have such minor issues in a new car.. I hope she makes the 550 mile mark quickly so i can drive her more like a muscle car.
Oh, is the clear roof panel lighter than the body color panel. The wife seems to have a little trouble with the body colored one.

From what every body says the static in the speaker when starting the car is normal.
What you are hearing is the fuel injectors and some very light rocker noise. No big deal, they all have it. Dont worry one more second.
What you should not be doing is babying your car. There are many owners here who drove them like Grandma for the first 500 miles and now report oil consumption issues.
Take her out, put in second gear, accelerate all the way up to red line and take your foot off the gas and let it rev down to 1500 RPm, then repeat. Do this at least a dozen times in the first 50 miles and you will have a motor that is honed to perfection.
