I have two small additions to this thread. Both are customer cars, but unfortunately they are not members of this board..
First one is a 2006 C6 Z06. Modifications Include Vengeance racing Custom camshaft/Comp valvespring kit/Kooks longtubes w/cats/ported throttle body/thermostat.Stock Intake/Heads/shortblock/Catback.
Ill see if I can find a pic of the car to go with the dyno graph.
Our next car is a 2005 C6 vert M6...
Modifications include: Vengeance Racing 402/LS2 stroker shortblock/TrickFlow TFS heads/Vengeance Racing Camshaft/full bolt ons/Custom dual stage nitrous kit (75/75) This Vette still gets 24mpg and has over 14000 miles of abuse with our package installed. Customer is local and drives it everyday the sun is shining

Geoff at NLP just posted my # and some pictures on the forum in the fi section. 560 rwhp and 490 rwtq using a Maggie 122 on 8lbs of boost. Can't wait to get back.

Very nice. Can you repost the chart and pics here? What did the work run you?

Sweet
Mike (formerly of NLP) tuned my C6 with a D1SC Procharger and got 586/506 rwhp/tq with 5.5-6lbs of boost. The car was built by Roger Preston at Horsepower Sales in Pompano Beach.
Mike said he could have gotten more out of it, but didn't want to burn the pistons. He did the tune in early summer when the temp in the dyno room was close to 100 degrees. NLP does great work.
You will be one happy camper once you get your beast back, enjoy and be safe
Not to start a war, but how did you arrive at your conclusion?
Misconception I guess. I personally like top mounted SC's - I am not a big fan of all the plumbing on side mount units. Used Whipple in the past with great sucess.

Doesn't really matter which SC one picks, they all do the same thing, make the already fast vette go faster
Why would someone choose Supercharged hp over Naturally Aspirated hp? I know the cost per hp is quite a bit less with a SC, which is a real decision factor, but aren't there some disadvantages in supercharging, such as reliability/longevity?
fyi, I went with an N/A LPE 427, which might be ready to ship end of next wk.

Well..how much money are you paying, for how much rwhp? A SC motor is very reliable and you never know the power is there...until necessary. Not to mention 30mpg.

Yes, I'm paying lots more for N/A hp, but you see, I'm questioning my choice here. Maybe you could answer my original question this time?

My SC car has a full factory warranty, a ProCharger warranty, did not cost me my retirement, and most importantly it's what I wanted. I didn't see the need to replace a perfectly good engine. How's that?

Trust me the 427 NA route is great! The only reason I am going the F.I. route this time is because I have never had one and want to try something different. Actually if they could not do what I was wanting this time I was going to go the 427 route. And NO, the way I am doing it is not cheaper than the 427.
