BB Route 66s with A6..your experience
Hello all,
Needed to collect some data
before I buy my muffs. What have your experiences been with Billy Boat Route 66 muffs on A6 cars.
In paticular, Ease of installation, Fit/Finish, Drone at "in townspeeds of 20 - 45 mph" and Drone at "Highway speeds 65 - 80 mph", would you buy them again?
Also which muffs (evolution series?, sport vs touring?) does your system have and does it include the crossover pipes...

I bought them because the tips look great, are louder than stock, and have limited resonance. The resonance is low in the 1600 - 1700 rpm range, very tolerable. I personally would like them louder, but the trade off for drone, is not for me. Installed at local tire store, 1 hour $65. Here is my sound clip.

Billy Boat's quality is unsurpassed. Installation is easy. There is some drone at hiway speed, but it is acceptable to me.
