Default Need vertible C6 roll bar solution

What can a C6 vertable owner do to run hobby level track days with some sort of roll protection? Is there a roll bar that can be installed?

Unfortunately, all of the sanctioning bodies I've contacted require a full SCCA type rollbar for their track events. That means fore & aft bracing as well as the roll hoop itself, which makes it a major mod. I'll be curious to see if anyone posts something different...as an SCCA racer from many years ago, I'd sure like to run a couple of track events myself.

I'd want something that would work, but I don't think the requirement is sanctioning bodies. Many cars have roll protection, like my wife's BMW 325CIC has automatic pop up hoops between the back seat and the trunk. If these won't work, why did BMW engineer them and put them in? My guess is they work. Maybe not as durable as a full roll cage on a 300mph dragster rolling at the end of a run, but if the beamer flipped upsidown, I would be glad they popped up.
