Default Need Rim Advise.............again

I found someone to widen my rims, I just dont know how wide I can go ......I just don't have any idea about this stuff...

I have 10.5" rims now with a 58mm offsett . They stick out a little , but I have what looks like tons of room in the well.

I want to widen them as much as possable, without any problems, but I dont know what to tell the welder, I am clueless......... he just wants the specs, and he'll do the rest.

HELP!!

Thanks guys

-Dennis

Thanks Dennis,

I hope I follow you, are you saying I change the offset??

What if the offset is left at the current 58mm, and I just widen to fill in the wells? Think I could go 12"???

Thanks again

i dont know because of the 18 inch rim but try putting an inch and a half of clay, block of wood and stick it to the rim and spin it see if it clears the a arm and calipers

Dgatto;try the calculator on; http://1010tire.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Remember you have to clear the frame and/or suspension on the inside and the fender on the outside AND clear the calipers.
