Default Flowmasters Anyone?

I know that Flowmasters are not the most popular exhaust systems for C6s, but has anyone had experience with their "American Thunder" over the axle system? Sound? Resonance? At under $600, they seem like a bargain - I know they are not stainless.

I had the FlowMaster 17415's (the dual tip model) on my car for less that 2 hours. Loved the look, cost and sound. But, the drone inside was terrible. After a short trip, I knew I could not live with it. I'd either be deaf or insane. Keep in mind I have Headers, but I honestly don't think that would make that much of a difference. I give them a thumbsdown.

Thumbs up here.I have the system and love it.No drone on my MN6.If you like a classic muscle car sound, you will like this system.Deep idle tone, nice burble at cruise.I feel no need to go any further,as it is exactly the sound I was looking for.

I have one with less than 100 miles on it. It is part #17416, 2 4" SS tips. I loved the sound, and especially looks. My wife also loved the looks but didn't like the muscle car sound. This is absolutely as "NEW" and I'll take $250 shipped for it. PM me if interested.

I have the 4 tip system, is louder inside the car than outside, too much drone, MN6 - looking for replacement system but decided not to get anything until I can actually hear it on (and in) a car. I think that's the best advice - hear it before you buy.

I think you can get this exhaust a lot of places like Summit or Jegs for around $350.
