Default Power conv top - HELP!

When the battery has been disconnected with the top down, the top must be raised manually (after re-connecting the battery) following the procedure on pg 149 of the owner's manual. What the manual does not bother to tell you is how to re-tighten the pressure release bolt (on the hydraulic pump) with the top up! Has anyone out there been thru this? Do you have to relower the top manually so that you can get to the pressure release bolt to tighten? Help!

I went through the same nonsense in my head the first time, that manual is crap.

Opening the bolt releases the pressure, then tighten it back down once you're able to move the top but before you raise it. The pressure won't build back up until you run the pump again by putting the top down.

Don't have my manual handy, but my experience with a similar situation was that all you had to do was index the windows and then you could raise the top with the power switch.
