Default GM Accessory Cat-Back Exhaust System

Anyone have experience with the GM cat-back exhaust system, the street legal one? Just trying to find out if there are problems with interior drone. Considering installing it on new 2007 C6 convertible. I know there are others from Corsa, Borla that may be a better value or more hp.

I think the GM system is the same as the borla touring system. There are a few members that have this system so hopefully they will chime in. I have a Corsa sport. I like it. I have LG long tube headers xpipe high flow cats. There is a very small amount of drone with my system.

I have the gm touring system. My mods are vararam, spacer, ported tb, ported intake, cam,AR 1 7/8" LT's, 2.5" x-pipe,Gm touring exhaust. My car put down 435/397 and sounds really quiet. The lope is definately there, and the volume has increased but very subtle. At normal cruising speed in the city or on the highway, you wouldn't know it had a thing done to it. I get the slightest hint of drone from 1400-1700rpms. Hope that helps. No video for now.

I have the system on my convertible. I'm happy with it. My Vette is 100% stock and it is slighty louder than the factory exhaust with a lower rumble at idle and a nice sound when accelerating. It has no drone that is noticeable to me and does not gurgle and pop when you let off the gas. I did not want a system that was loud or high pitched and ratty sounding. You should try and listen to one before you buy. That said, I believe the pricing on the Borla system is a little less than the same GM piece made by Borla.
