Default Need Axle back advice.

Ok so I know I kinda posted this before but I can't find the post. I use to have a Mustang GT with a Magnaflow catback and I loved the sound. I am looking to have the same sound on my C6. Thinking about another Magnaflow setup but the sound clips make them sound fairly quiet. Any advice?

Hate to dissappoint you but your vette will never sound the same as your mustang. If you but magnaflows on your vette they will sound good but not the same as the stang, also they will resonate or drone. Personally I wouldn't waste my money on cat backs. I would rather spend the cash on headers, at least you get hp for your money plus they sound pretty good with the stock mufflers and no drone.

Ok but my question is why won't it sound as good? I mean I realize it is a different car and different motor. But why do they sound so differently? BTW I currently have Magnaflows on my F150 and love the sound on that as well.

Ford v8's have a different firing order than chevy's maybe that is why. I know I like the way my 67 289 mustang sounds better than my 06 C6!

no mater what you do a Oriental bike doesn't sound like a Harley. any car doesn't sound like a vette because the mufflers are to far back, put them in front of your rear or get glass packs maybe header mufflers .but none will sound like a 5.0 and flows
