Default Need mod advice!

I have a bone stock A6 I'm looking to get 400-430RWHP I'm thinking of going with LT's with cats, mild cam from LG Motorsports, CAI, FAST intake and tune I'll probably let LGM do the work I just hate having to drive 500 miles to their shop in TX. I want to have everyday drivability after the mods.

Well if you get a cam, your idle will be raised, your stock converter will try to stall at or near idle. You will go through brakes quickly.
You will pick up more ET by swapping converters than by adding 40 HP.

With the above a 160 thermostat is a must, specially with the tune. Also get the underdrive pulley with the cam change. And complete the exhaust with the addition of x-pipe and rear cat back. (B&B route 66 or bullets for real loud or other cat back systems available. Also I would forget about the fast intake, and install a ram air like (varam or vortex) . My list of mods are good for at least 50 rear hp. 30-38 hp from the RAM AIR ALONE.
