gm hi rev lifters
has anyone used the gm 12499225 lifters ? doing a cam and head swap and bought a set to try but they seem to have quite a bit of friction against the plastic lifter guides. i did'nt notice it till today and don't have an old lifter to compare the fit to see if this is normal.

I haven't been there myself, but as I understand this the plastic things aren't really guides; the lifters ride below that in normal operation. Its really there to hold the lifters in place when the cam's out, and so the friction is normal.
Hopefully someone with experience with having these things apart can verify this.
