Ifs its a Salvage title, you will have to pay to get it replaced. Is there fluid in the system. Is there a leak under the bell housing? You have to remove a lot of parts to get to the slave cylinder. Its a simple hydraulic system, if theres no pressure and the resevior is full, no leaks, then get it replaced.
