Default headers w/ stock catback

I know alot of people have headers, mini cats and stock catback.... what does it sound like? does it have a decent growl at idle?
does anyone have a sound clip?? I would love to have a sound clip?

I wish I could upload my track runs so you could hear at WOT. The car idles nicely, bit more growl than stock, but at WOT it's awesome. I habe LG longtubes w/cats out stock exhaust.

I just had my Corsa Sports put on the other day. Had AR Headers on for awhile with stock exhaust...No comparison...Much better with the Corsa Sports on.

100%

I thought I liked my set-up with the stock exhaust. Just installed the Corsa's yesterday...there is no comparison.

as far as the rasp goes, go with a high flow converter....it only decreases you by 3-5 rwhp and you don't have to worry about rasp or weird smells

No problem, it was a nice upgrade from stock and in my opinion a better way to start than a catback because you are actually going to get a gain in hp out of it. That is actually my friends car and shortly after we put together that video he added the Magnaflow catback and it sounds unique almost exotic. I will look to see if I have a video with the magnaflows on.

Ill have clips shortly of headers with the bullet PRT.. Spending a whole lot of money on highly engineered headers, then running it through a restrictive exhaust doest make sense to me...

people keep saying that yet I have not seen any dyno testing backing it up.. How much different is the C5 exhaust setup vs. the C6.. the bullets alone were making 12-15whp on a C5...and there are other dynos suggesting the same straight through style will make similar gains on the C6.
