C6 rear indicators
Hi all,
I plan to take my new C6 'vert back to the U.K. when I order it next month
As some of you guy's might already know, but in the U.K. we can not have red rear turn signal lights.
When I was at my local Chevy dealer on Saturday, I forgot to ask if the rear turn signals are red or amber.
Can some one please tell me.
If they are red, does anyone know if there is a European equivalent?

I would think he's looking at grey market goods. A US dealer can't/won't order a car with the Euro package as they are not supposed to allow cars they sell leave the country. I suspect UK_WS6 will buy the car and then ship it out himself to save a ton of money compared to buying a legit car from GM in the UK.

i don't know what the law's are in the UK but if all you need is an amber lamp.. just get the euro tail lens and make both blink at the same time (red and amber) of course it will also come on when you stop....
to make the ambers blink it is a real pain to do....

There is a special cable set available for the rear euro lamp lenses. They look different than the mods done by '2LT-Z51'. With this cable the DIC needs to be modified to a euro lights set up.
The euro model has 2 different rear lamp lenses. Only the outer lens is for brake/driving/turn signals. The inner one is for the rear fog light only.
One day, when I bring my Vette home, I have to do the same. But I would choose the same way as '2LT-Z51' did. I like this version.
And I put the fog light down between the exhaust.
