Window Tint Affects Nav System?
Has anyone who has the Nav system and then had their windows tinted had any reception problems? I ask because on page 2-55 of my 2006 C6 Navigation System manual it states: "Do not apply after-market glass tinting to the vehicle's windows. Glass tinting will interfere with the system's ability to receive GPS signals and cause the system to malfunction. You might have to replace the window to correct the problem. This would not be covered by your warranty."
While that is true ... if you get a Ceramic based Film on the tint you will not have any problems. Also in the C6, the GPS antenna is in the dash, so there would be no tint on your windshield to effect it.

I have nav and 28% ceramic tint on my sides and rear and no issues.
I think the antennae are in the side mirrors. Window tint is a non-issue.
Insects have antennae, cars have antennas. The Nav GPS antenna is in the dash pad above the center A/C vents as previously noted. The antennas in the mirrors of 2006 and newer C6s are for XM radio, not for GPS.
