Probably a bad idea knowing that the car needs some "rake" for high speed stability, but measuring from floor to the rocker panel at the rear measures 1/2" higher than the front and I think the car would look a little nicer if it were level. Just my opinion of course. Any comments please.
that is mostly because the difference of front and rear wheel / tire height required by the traction control system. You could lower the rear, but as you said you may have stability issues and change the aiming of your headlights too.
All the vettes (C5's included) that I have seen like that looked very goofy because the gap above the tires is much larger on the front. The gap is even when it's got some rake.
I ONLY CHANGE MY REAR BOLTS.
Rear lowering bolts all the way down and front factory bolts; all the way down. no need to replace the front ones with either bushings kits or the lowering bolts.
JUST MAKE SURE WHEN YOU GET THE LOWERING BOLTS THEY NEED TO BE LUBRICATED IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE A GRIDING/clicking SOUND that can be confuse with the noise from the differential. Trust me, they change my differential fluid thinking it was the differential. And after some though i figure to spray some wd-40 on the rear bolts and wallaaaaaa noise gone. just put some grease on the bolts....
My experience....
