Engine light after headers?

Engine light after headers?

Headers and exhaust installed-now engine light. I understand its because the cats are further back and its an emission light. Is this true and can I just have someone reconfigure the computer? Thanks

First thing you need to do is find out what code is causing the CEL. If it's the P0420 and/or P0430 the codes can be removed by a tuner.

I think you can remove that with a Diablo tuner.

That's why I had them along with a few other simple mods done with a tune and no codes. Get the best bang for the buck too.

if it isn't these 2 codes, it could be rear o2s not plug in or burn wires. assuming nothing else is wrong. good luck.
