wiring question
I am installing a set of gauges in my C6. They are Autometer cobalt on the pillar post. I would like to tap the wire for the headlights so that they only illuminate at night instead of all the time.
I think this would be best. Does anyone know what wire I would tap to do this? I know I can tap the yellow wire for hot but I would like it to work with the car lights.

I just wired it to the yellow wire under the dash for now. That comes on with the ignition. I started to wonder if the lights would dim wihen the headlights came on.
So I figured I would just go with most others have done.
