i would think so since the FAST LSX intake can fit all of the LS engines.

I believe the correct response should be that, yes, the LS2 intake mainifold will bolt on the LS1 heads. However, the LS1 throttle body will not bolt on the LS2 intake, nor will the LS1 fuel rails work. Plus, the LS2 is drive by wire and the LS1s are cable driven. If you were to acquire a complete LS2 intake (manifold, fuel rails, injectors and tb) you would still have to fab the electronics for the DBW or get an aftermarket 90mm TB with the cable actuator. Soooo, tell him to go LS6 or fast, simpler.

This is going on his ls1 that he dropped in an S-10. I have a complete intake w/ injectors & the rail. He may be able to figure it out

Default Yes it fits, but why use one?

They are interchangable except for the 90mm TB. Now for the bad news, it's no better than the LS1 you have now. Runners, plenium etc.
You'd be better off with and LS6, or step up to the FAST, and that you can get with either a 76 or 90mm TB. It's up to you.

If you should use the LS2 unit, Painless makes a throttle body that will work.
