Default Al at LAPD is INSANE!

I had the pleasure of speaking to him about many things and the discussion of a cam swap with springs etc was brought up. He started to give me prices of what it would be to do the cam/springs and tune and I couldnt believe how reasonable it was. Either he is insane or I didnt hear him correctly(but I asked him to repeat it several times to me). Will someone on this board call him and double check the price. It seems to good to be true. I am not giving the $ because I am not sure I am allowed to.
I do not work for LAPD just thinking about fellow members.

I have nothing but good things to say about this guys. I worked with Shawn while down there on vacation last summer. I could not be happier with the results, the price and quality of there work. I wish I lived closer.

WADR, you're a senior member of this forum, and you're about as anonymous as they get. Do you think it'd be helpful to all of us if you at least filled out a bit more info in your profile such as a first name, a city, and a car/year that you own?

Thanks. It's bound to make the internet just a bit less impersonal.

Al is a great source of information and I personally urge anyone that is interested in getting modifications done, to contact him first before doing anything. He will steer you in the right direction and get your Vette running it's best. He is a great asset to LAPD and to the Corvette community as a whole. He is one in a billion!!

Our top notch meticulous technicians will get the job done right the first time and Doug (our tuner) will get your car running it's best so you can enjoy the stock driveability tuning with the added power from the mods! We have assembled the finest team at LAPD and I am proud to be apart of it.

Thanks for the kind words! The entire staff here at LAPD appreciates it whole heartedly!

Al, Dan, Dave, Emilio, Gev, Jeff, Robert, Sam, Shawn M., Shawn W., and Tim.

I kinda know the guys at LAPD, maybe I can get you another buck or two off his quoted price... Kidding aside, AL is one of the most knowledgeable persons I've encountered when it comes to these cars, he's very very DEDICATED to his work...being, customer satisfaction is first and foremost!!! Doug, Al and myself were at the shop last Monday doing some dyno runs on my car...and Al was sick as a dog, and I suggested he go home and rest up, we finshed up at 9pm and him being the last to leave the shop. The cars that go in the shop becomes his pet projects and he takes them personal and with passion!

Screw Allstate....your in good hands with the boyz at L.A.P.D!!!

George,

We have expanded LAPD's operations to handle the major influx of work. Dave, Tim, Jeff and Shawn W. are the newest additions to the staff. Verizon Wireless stole our motto long ago...At LAPD, we NEVER STOP working for you!

I know Alfonse as well, and yes, he is insane.
But as insane as he is, he knows Corvettes.....Just ask him
Just kidding Al.

Hey, are you still selling that 10 second cam you installed on the old C5?
You helped make that car sing a good song.
Your all right buddy.

Peace!

Bruce on the Juice! (ain't no surprise)

Just have to look at the prices they advertise on products to know they are setting the bar high for other vendors!

We are L.A.P.D. and it stands for Los Angeles Performance Division.

Sorry for the confusion.
