Paint Match Problem
Just Wondering If Anybody Has Done Any Paint Work On Atomic Orange Vette Yet? I Am Doing Rear Widebody And Having Trouble Paint Matching. Do Not Want To Blend Into Doors And Other Panels Just So I Can Return The Car To Stock If I Want. I Took One Of The Fenders In And Had It Scanned And The Paint Mix Was Way Different Than What The Factory Chip Calls For. Anybody Else Have This Problem. Also Could You Post The Mix If You Had A Good Match. Thanks

gettin ready to do the same as you within' the next month probably. I talked to my paint guy he said he "shouldn't" have any trouble matching it. Did you see if the paint mix they were using was a true 3 stage process? some paint manufacturers will get as close as they can with a 2 stage and call it good..

Hey Guys Thanks For All The Advice. I Think We Got It Matched. Ran It Through 3 Different Computers And Came Up With Almost Perfect Match. Just Had To Add A Little Extra Metalic To Make It As Close To Perfect As Possible. I Have Had Allot Of Vehicles And Do Allot Of Painting Extras And This Was By Far The Hardest Color I Have Seen.
