Sun Visor Removal - now I have Homelink and Lear
I want to remove the sun visor on the drivers side of my 07 Z06. Isa there anyone with a service manual that can tell me how. After searching, I was able to find the proceedure for a C5 but not for the C6

Be very careful not to scratch up the bezel for the visor. A dealership tore the hell out of mine trying to get it out. If you can get the entire bezel to rotate counterclockwise it will all just slide out. It's easier to do it that way than try just to get the inner piece out.

I followed the C5 procedure on my C6. It took more force than I expected. Removing the driver side visor is the best mod I've made to the car. The extra vision at the top edge of the windshield helps if you're tall.

Now I have Homelink and Lear
Worked like a champ - I removed the driver sun visor. Removed the vanity mirror and cut a slot for a Homelink transmitter. I then installed the transmitter, mirror, and now I have three new buttons. The Homelink system programs to my neighborhood gates successfully since the Lear system never did.
