Default Hurricane air intake??

I may do the Hurricane air intake mod this weekend, when I take my 07 C6 in for a dyno tune. Any info on the Hurricane system. I am wondering if this is a good choice to add with the dyno tune. Any info or suggestions... Thanks

I've spent months researching this and have read every post/thread on this subject and the consensus is as follows:

Choose between VaraRam, Callaway Honker, or LPE. These are true "cold" air intakes. VR has the best performance gains while Callaway or LPE are close but have a better/cleaner appearance under the hood. Ignore the others.

I've got one. Put it on because it was recommended to me by the parts guy at the dealership where I bought the car. Also added B&B exhaust system. Any performance increase is not eye-popping to say the least. Probably some improvement but not like "holy s--t"

Call the guys at West Coast Corvette in Anaheim ...see what they tell you.

not that I know of. The dealer installed everything and I assumed it was good to go. Should they have tuned it and told me about it? does tuning afterwards make a big difference?
