Fluid Questions
I got my 06 zz51 last fall and put 1500 miles on it before winter. I started it almost every week throughout the winter. it is almost time to bust her out for spring and I was wondering if an oil change was necessary. I was thinking about replacing all fluids so the break in particles could be flushed. any brand sugestions, i ran mobile one in my 00 ws6 and 05 sti but i was wondering what you guys thaught of ams or royal purple. Oh yeah just so you know the ws6 and sti got traded for the vet, well worth the trade.

Royal Purple does not meet the GM spec and could potentially void your warranty. There is a thread somewhere on here and a guy talked to RP and they told hime that very thing. I think they might be working on meeting the GMXXX spec, but as of now, it does not have it. Not sure about AMSOIL. I think the Trans and diff fluid might be approved, check their website's.
