C-6 Seat Skins Replacement
Fixing to replace my factory style seat skins with some custom made skins. Does anyone have any photos and instructions on this mod? Have not been able to find any info on this mod through my searches. Any help would be much appreciated from this DIYer.

No, the passenger seat airbag discrimination sensor is on all 2006 - 2007 Corvette models, side airbag or not. Not all Corvetttes have the side airbag. But all 2006 - 2007 models do have the passenger seat airbag discrimination sensor.
Some aftermarket seat covers have too much or too little tension and this affects the passenger seat discrimination sensors ability to discriminated between an adult, a child, a child safety seat, vs. a sack of groceries, vs. an empty seat. Some aftermarket seat covers will cause the airbag malfunction indicator to turn on, and/or improper operation of the the passenger side airbag(s).
If the car has the side airbag, that is another issue. So just beware.
Some aftermarket seat covers have too much or too little tension and this affects the passenger seat discrimination sensors ability to discriminated between an adult, a child, a child safety seat, vs. a sack of groceries, vs. an empty seat. Some aftermarket seat covers will cause the airbag malfunction indicator to turn on, and/or improper operation of the the passenger side airbag(s).
If the car has the side airbag, that is another issue. So just beware.

Got some Helms Manuals coming to be sure I do it right. Thanks for the input. If anyone has any first hand experience at performing this mod, info would be much appreciated.Thanks
