Default First Vette

Hi guys, new to this site and I'm looking to do a cam. So far I have done all the normal stuff- 2005 C6 M6
Cold air, B&B headers, X-pipe, Corsa sport exhaust, tune with a callway short shift. But I came up a little short on the numbers 370rwhp/365tq.
Looking to get 410rwhp, what cam and spring combo will get me there without doing heads? Or without hurting the motor? I really want a rough idle, that right 70's big block sound!

Any good cam numbers out there?

Thanks alot

It depends on how far you are going to take the LS2 motor. If a cam is your last mod then 224/228 or even 228/232 is as far as I would go. If your looking for good idle quality and driveability. Even adding heads with these cams will give you great rwhp and tq. Iknow I've done it all. I modded my LS2 motor three different stages. Ended up with 461rwhp/435rwtq with the 224/228 cam. Great driveability, and Gas milage to boot. This motor is now in my son's C5. I now have a stroked L92 with CNC 'ed L92 heads. This motor is making 523rwhp/490rwtq and it's my daily driver to and from work. The cam in it is only 232/234/595/598/112LSA's. So selecting a cam really depends on what you want out of the car and what type of driving your going to do. BTW your numbers are well within the range of other car with the same type of mods you have done. Later.

The car isn't a daily driver, Its more of a pay day friday car. I only have two trips planned this year and there about 5 hour drives, I plan to do gears this summer and then maybe heads later. But the mods go on to fast!
How about this cam?

228/232 588/598 112lsa

That will work fine. If it were me, do a FAST 90 manifold. Your LS2 manifold is no better than the old LS1 units. JUNK. A FAST 90 will really help that cam work.

With that cam and a FAST you'll make over 400rwhp easy. Maybe 420-425. torque should be over 400 also.

Okay I'm half way there, I got everything on its way. Here is what I'm doing:
Cam 222/224 581 112lsa
Ported polished heads, intake, throttle body
New valves and springs

Already Have:
B&b headers, xpipe
Corsa Exhaust
Slp cold air
160 stat= 370rwhp/365tq

Any range of where I should be now?
Love to see some number!!!!!!!
Really hoping 420hp to 430hp
