I'm having a cam installed on Monday,but was wondering,how can You "dynotune" the car if You have to "break it in"!??

My vette was dynoed and tuned immediately after having the heads and cam installed. There was no break-in period. They did the same after I installed the D1SC supercharger, right to the dyno and tune.
