The Z51 and non-Z51 pads on the C6 are a different compound. The Z51 pads are softer, grip and brake better, but dust much more in the process. I switched from the Z51 pads to the stocker pads with no problem just to eliminate the dusting (and possibly the brake squeel I was having also). The pads are the same size and configuration and can be swapped out. The stock pads did reduce dusting considerably, but no change in the noise. I do not notice much difference in braking ability, but then mine is almost purely a daily driver.
By the way, we don't condone street racing around here... I see that you are located in Kuwait, but I bet that they don't like street racing either. Take it to the track.
The standard OEM brake pads for the Vette, both the Z51 & non Z51 are quite capable in stopping the car from high speed without much effort, their only short coming would be in repeated hard stops from speed they will wear out faster than a track pad will.
