I am replacimg my E-Brakeboot which requires removing the E-Brake Handle. The E-brake handle is held by a phillips crew which is easily reached by pulling the boot down, but I can't get the release button to come off. Any tips would be welcome.
He means once the set screw is out, pull the handle toward the button, and the button will come off. As easy as it sounds.
Give it a couple of good tugs and it'll come right off. Once you do have it off, you'll see why it is hard, at first, to get it off ( it snaps into a cut-out in the button ).
