Default Halltech Stinger Install Tip

When installing the Halltech black transition hose it recommends installing the PCV nipple only to the first notch and glueing it into position. This didn't suit me as glue seems more like a last resort than standard operating procedure.

Instead, I used small pipe cutter and cut the first flange off the nipple. I then installed the nipple all the way into the black transition hose; don't worry, it flushes out just like the directions recommend. Also, I found that when the black transition hose is pushed all the way onto the throttle body the molded O2 sensor hose cannot align with the nipple as it the hose is too long. So, I slid the transition hose on only far enough so the the hose clamp would have good bite (you can feel inside the transition hose during installation to ensure this). It ended up being held back approximately 5/16".

All in all, a very easy install. 30 minutes, max.

Next install: Halltech's cold air induction and Z06 Sway bars, front and rear.

Rock on, all!
