Default higher tire pressure better ride?

In February, I sold my C5 mag red convertible to my son and purchased a loaded C6 mag red conv with 5,500 miles. The car has been in winter storage since it was trucked to my house. Tuesday the weather in Southern Ontario was in the 70's and I took the afternoon off to drive the car. I discovered that the tire pressure was way too high yet the ride with the magnetic select ride was impressive. The next day I reduced the cold tire pressure to 30 psi and the ride seemed no better if not slightly worse. Could the higher pressure reduced the impact of the run flat sidewalls? Has anyone else had this experience? With my C5, I found the harsh ride of the original run flats was improved by running 29 psi cold front and 28 psi cold rear. I also found that Michelin run flats provided a vastly superior and quieter ride although the grip in cornering seemed slightly less.

Default do not overinflate

yOU WILL RISK blow out and early tire replacement if you run to much pressure.Run what is recommended,as the tire gains pounds as they warm up.30 cold sounds about right. The only time I over inflate is when the car sits in storage for months in order to avoid flat spotting.
