Has anyone experienced a problem with the stock clutch boiling the fluid while driving the car hard. The car is not stock, it runs 11.4 @ 125 in the 1/4 but I thought the stock hydraulics would be fine. Thanks

Quite a few people have had this problem. I suspect it is caused by the hydraulic cylinder which is enclosed in the bell housing. A much better solution would have been to have a slave cylinder on the outside of the bell housing with a clutch fork connecting to the throwout bearing as many cars with hydraulic clutch systems currently have. The present location is directly connected to the clutch spring through the throwout bearing with no real cooling holes anywhere. If you get much heat from slipping the clutch it goes directly into the fluid through the above path.
You can either change the fluid a lot, get some of the 600F brake fluid which is now available although expensive or if you are more adventurous try going at the bell housing with a hole saw to allow some air into and out of that area.
Replace the fluid with some synthetic(hi temp) and bleed. Should solve your problems.

Thanks, I have heard that from several people now, I don't understand why they designed a system that is so suspect to doing exactly what the car was designed to do.
