Guys my car will be going into vette doctors while im on vaction to Aruba in mid may, I'am having a spec dual disc clutch put in, also was thinking about throwin on some bilstein shocks, what do you guys think will i benifit from this? launches? from a roll? also what fly wheel do you guys recomend for drag racing from a dig and also a roll... Aluminum or Steel? thanks!
I had the Bilstein Sport shocks installed a couple of months ago on my '06 C6 Z51 MN6. Big improvement in smoothness of ride while cruising. These new shocks absorb the small bumps much better. I don't have much time to be a good judge of the difference at high speeds, but I have more confidence in the cars ability to track better over bumps in high speed corners without the car getting unsettled.

I had carmen and dennis do the bilstien and no more wheel hop!!
Even with 530 at the tire!
Installed the Bilstein Sports on my 2006 C6/Z51/6sp. with 460 RWHP & 4.10's. No wheel hop with standard tires, but with 315x30x18 BFG Drag Radials the wheel hop is there when speed shifting from 1 to 2. I'm waiting for someone to offer upgraded rear upper control rod bushings for the C6.
so im proabably going to be in trouble with 640rwhp and hoosier R6's so basically this will not really serve me any purpose? will the car at least remain squated longer on launches with these shocks?
