DIY Underdrive Pulley
Have a powerbond UD. The install looks pretty tricky
pull the rack?
move the rack?
raise the motor?
drop the cradle?
I don't think there is an easy way to do this install. Any tips out there
I'f I'm going to do a cam later should I get a two piece timing cover now?

Do not put on the pulley at a different time than the cam, too much work will have to be duplicated. The cam swap takes 6 hours, a pulley probably takes 5.
You do not have to raise, drop, the motor or cradle, simply unbolt the rack and move it out of the way, don't even bother taking it out of the car.
Also, I would not get a 2 piece timing cover. On the LS2 there is a damper over the crank sprocket, it does not allow you to see the timing mark. Of course you could always line up the dots before you take the chain off, but then if you move anyting even a hair, you'll be screwed. 2 piece covers were great on the LS1, but not a good idea on the LS2.
In short, save the pulley for your cam swap and re-use the stock cover
