Halltech SSM vs. K&N
I am looking to add a better breathing air system and get a tune. I am not looking to race just to make the stock car all it can be.
I do not want to cut up the shroud.
It seems these systems are pretty similar. I have read where some say the Halltech filter comes off but that may be due to oil not being cleaned well at install. I have not read anything bad about the K&N. The K&N appears to actually mount the filter which may be better than just letting it sit there.
Has anyone tried each? Any thoughts?
