Default Tires and wheels

So here goes. Dad doing the wide body and Z06 style wheels on his 2006 coupe. I have 2007 vert. What do you think of 19" wheels all the way around on a stock vert?

Front 19x10 79mm (dads old rears).
with Pilot 265/35/19

Rears 19x11.5 97mm (custom stock c6 wheels I had made)
with Pilot 345/30/19

any thoughts??

Sounds like it would work but your going to give up the staggered one inch difference in diameter look.

you need a min 12" for a 345 so that kills it right there. other than that, you will not get a very pleasing look as the rear wheel ark is bigger than the front and need a larger than front wheel to look right

A 345 would stick way way out of the fender on the rear, unless you were tubbed. I think that a 325 is about it for stock fenders.

I'm real interested in knowing if the 19x10 w/79mm offset wheels will fit in the front! Perhaps, you could try them on?

I originally went 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. I did not like giving up the staggered look and immediately sent the 19x11 back for 20x11. Strange, but I could have sworn it made the rears look smaller than the fronts. With the 20's in the back, it turned out exactly the way I wanted. I posted elsewhere that 325's fit on 11" wheels. With the right offset, they will fit perfectly in your wheelwells. 325's do have a slight overhang on a 11" wheel, but nothing too obscene.. I would venture that 345's would look a little ackward on an 11" wheel.... and on a stock C6. That size is best suited to a 12" wheel and either Z06 fenders, or wheel tubs.

I did fit the fronts. They fit nice. The overall height of my fronts are 25.6
and my rears are 27.0 so to me the wheel being the same really don't show. The rears fit ok. flush with the outside of quarter tight on the inside. tires do bulge on the rims alittle. I'm working on a tub idea and a bettter offset wheel. Car looks very wide with all that tire. Rides the same as stock.

With the 19x10 w/79 mm rear wheels (and tires?) on the front, did you try turning the steering wheel to check for possible rubbing? Or, better yet, did you try driving the car?

No problems with the 19x10 and 275's on my front. Even with the car being lowered.... I can do lock to lock turns without rubbing.
