Default Help with fan settings?

I had my 06 C6 MN6 tuned with HP. My fan comes on at 100% immediately on cold start up (60 degrees) and stays that way. I understand it's not like the C5 but it seems impractical, and somewhat annoying to have the fan screamiing all the time. I'm not at all dissatisfied with my tuner and he says he'll reset it anywhere I want it. There lies the problem! I'm confused. In reading the threads on the subject, most say you can't program the fan to come on below 192 degrees??? I don't race this car but I would like to reasonably maximize it's potential. Have CAI, Long Tubes and 160 stat. Located in sunny Florida! Would someone clear up the fan setting issue for me?
Thank you very much.

Default 192 is right

I will leave the long explanation for a professional but the standard HP allows only 192* and above fan settings. If the fans come on from cold start, which is not neccessary, something or someone is malfunctioning.

Thanks Jim. My tuner said he had just received some new "stuff" from HP. Maybe he has something different? Hopefully someone else will chime in here as I was planning to get it changed tomorrow. Thanks.

You will find my results in my reply to your other post in the tune thread.

Have your tuner program in 20% at 192.

Thanks Larry. I'll have my tuner set to your specs, hopefully tomorrow.
For some reason he thinks the cooler the better, hence the setting to run all the time. Not for me.

You do realise that the A/C causes the fan to run? Anytime the A/C is on the fan runs.

A/C is controlled by pressure. That 192* is only applicable with A/C off.

Reset fan to 20% and progressively higer to 95%. I'm a happy camper now. Thanks for the advice.
