HELP! Tire sensors bugging out!!!
But yesterday morning I pulled my car out of the garage and noticed the big orange flat tire light was on, and the display read: " Left rear tire flat... top speed 55 mph... reduced handling... " The tire pressure is now displayed all of a sudden on all tires and the left rear is at 0 psi. Thing is it's actually at 29psi and the car is running/handling just fine but the warning kept popping up all day long. I drove around all day hoping it wold go away and it didn't...
Tonight my buddy is bringing over a scan tool, but does anyone here have any input that can help me out...?

You say you got "aftermarket sensors". I assume you mean you got the correct GM sensors (actually made by Schrader) for the C6 - I don't know of any aftermarket sensors.
As you'll read in that thread above, depending on how your sensors are mounted in your aftermarket wheels, they can be a real PITA to trigger during the learning process.
If your buddy is bringing over a "scan tool" that's not going to do you any good. There are no codes thrown by the sensors. If your TPMS is not working properly you might get some codes. Butt....I suspect you just need to program your sensors, and you need a tire pressure monitor tool for that, not a scan tool (unless he's got a Tech II, in which case you may be able to do it with that, but I'm not sure).
Good luck,
Bob
