Hi guys, I realise this is a C6 forum, but was wondering if anyonw can help me. I just bought a C05 HUD which I am looking to fit on a Ford Escort and was wondering if anyone could supply me with any technical details about the RPM and speed input signals that the HUD requires? Any help would be greatly appreciated
with the heads up you will have prob. seeing it even if you get it hooked up..
most plain windshields will not reflect the screen..
do you have the wire diag. for he heads up?
does the ford have a rpm gauge and a elect. speedo???
you shouldnt be tainting the chevy part with that ford!
to make things easy on yourself, try swapping out the ford with a corvette to fit the nice HUD you got there.
Its not an ordinary Escort. Its a ford escort cosworth 4x4, one of the most successful rally cars. The build has cost me over $150,000 so I would rather not swap it
If anyone has more techinical details please send them to me. For instance I use an aftermarket ECU (or IPC) that is rs232 compatable. Maybe It will be easier to get it working with that?
Thanks
p.s. the ECU I use is an Autronic SM4
