Default rear end....
I have a 2005 M6, Has anyone had or heard of problems with the stock rear end breaking with over 500rwhp and 4:10's. I have heard that if I just use street tires I shouldn't have a problem. However if/when I go to the track I will want to use slicks and that is where I've heard the problems will start.

If you hook up at the track stock you risk breaking the left output shaft on the rear and if you wheel hop breaking the rear itself.

Dude just do a search, there are literally hundreds of replies to threads exactly the same as yours. I blew my 05 rear w/ a completely stock C6! So good luck with a modded one.
