OKAY, Borla and B&B are better than Flowmasters in performance I know that, but there's no hp gain from FM's at all!?!?!?! that's what I wanna know I don't think that system is too bad.. don't ya think!
Thanks a lot.
any one know if flowmaster could fit with american racing headers????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ??????????
I was thinking Corsa Sport until I heard them tonight on an automatic. After having Borla Stingers on my C5 Z06, the Corsa's sounded tame.
I would like the Borla muscle car sound with no drone at highway speeds. I remember a friend had GHL bullets on a C5 Z06 and they sounded great when accelerating but made little or no drone.
I have a prototype system from Quick Time Performance that includes bypass/cutouts in the axle back. It sounds really good with the cutouts closed, no drone at highway or local speeds. I have a convertible, it is OK with the roof up or down.
With the cutouts open, the car is loud and sounds amazing. I have heard others and it is about as loud as any I have heard. The best part, hit the switch and they close.
I chose square tips, oval will be available. I think they will become available in the next several months since my set was the one used for final fitting. I know they will be available at Carlisle.
That sounds like a diesel at idle, weird... Looks cool, what exhaust is that quick time? Never heard of them. I got the Zoomers quad tips, nice mellow sound.. here's a clip form their site...
