Tire heights affecting Traction Control
I am just about ready to do a rear wide body conversion for traction reasons only.
Want to run 18 x 12.5 on rear for drag radials and 18 x 9.5 on front.
My C6 is an every day driver so I had Nitto NT555R 335/30ZR18's in mind for rear since they handle better wet then the BFG drag radials.
I was advised by a fairly reliable source that if I went with the Nitto's in the rear @ 26.06" overall diameter and stuck with a stock C6 tire up front @ 25.7" overall diameter that I would run into Traction Control problems since the overall heights were too close together.
Has anyone had faced or tackled this dilemna or has anyone ran this combo without problems?
Please advise.
