I have an 06 MN6 C6 with 8200 miles and it's bone stock for now. I got it dyno'd last night and I got 305 RWHP/337 RWTQ. Is this result normal? I've been reading around and the result doesn't seem normal. What might be the issue or the problem?
Different dynos will show different numbers. So don't focus on them. Instead, do a base run & then do your mods/tuning and use the same dyno to gauge your gains.
From the numbers I've seen here, that looks to be about 40 hp low for the C6 LS2. As pointed out already, dyno numbers vary but that's pretty big discrepancy. In your position, I would want to confirm that the engine is actually delivering specified horsepower before making any mods. The first step would be to find and fix any problems keeping the engine from delivering spec power. I would try another dyno if another is nearby.

I had a similar experience. A vendor here in town uses an outside tune shop with a Mustang Dyno. I had headers CAI and expected at least 350rwhp on the mustang. but only got 320, and wasnt pleased with the tune either. A few months later different shop had a cam put in with a dynometer got 427rwhp. So no way could it have picked up that much hp. I know the mustang reads lower by 10-15%.
BTW the first vendor changed tuners to the one with the dynometer.
