Here you go. An 05 will not fit an 06-07 or vice versa. The ZO6 is also its own animal. I am trying to get gears built for the ZO6 diff right now that will have two different splines so that I can use the ZO6 diff in a LS2 06-07 but it is a long ways off. As of now if you have a 06/07 you have to use the 06-07 diffs.

Well I will say at this time, YES a 05 M6 3:42 rear diff will bolt into a A4 05 car. I just did it and it feels freakin awesome!

Since you have all the answers and we know nothing of what we speak of, what differential model is this that we have in-house? (picture below) I'll give you a hint- it's an O.E. product and this is what I mean when I state that we have privy information/components from the manufacturer.

I can tell you this like I've done in the past, both now and in this thread- you don't know as many correct answers as you think you might when it comes to the Corvette driveline, compared to a our business that does this everyday for a living, using direct-hands on expereince and has O.E.M. engineering ties. Not knowing something is certainly not a bad thing by any means, as everyone can't possibly know the answers to everything in life, but unfortunately your berating, belittling, disrespectful, condescending, arrogant, know-it-all attitude towards anyone who challenges you in the slightest bit, is the type of personality that blinds you from information that *is* out there, because you're too focused on trying to prove whatever point you're trying to make, rather than just listening and learning for once.

There is a great, big aftermarket world outside of this little Corvette Forum and just because you don't "see it here", certainly doesn't mean something doesn't exist. You would be flat-surprised to see what's really going on in the Corvette driveline world if you would just take the time to listen and learn, instead of spending all of your time trying to discredit others to make yourself appear superior. The only person that loses in that scenario is you, while the world just keeps going on by.

For some reason, you always seem to digress to the berating, belittling, disrespectful, condescending, arrogant, know-it-all attitude towards everyone you deal with online. I suspect you know this too, otherwise you wouldn't have made the observation statement of yourself in a previous post you made a while ago in another thread where you thought folks didn't care for you too much on this board because of that.

It's of no use to me or anyone else to try to deal with someone like this and it's the main reason why we have chosen not to provide the information that everyone seeks, (unless they call here when they order product) because this mess is the way these threads always turn into when you're involved. Would you want to help any person(s) who mocks you, calls you names, uses God's name in vain on a public board, etc, etc. just to "justify" themselves at the expense of others???? I doubt it and niether do we...

You can't imagine how many times I've wanted to come on here with pictures and data over the last couple of years that will just shut you down for good and make you eat every piece of wrong information you spread about us or the topic at hand, but that's not really my style. My better side tells to me to refrain, bite my tounge and take the high road. That's tougher to do, but it's also the right thing to do, even though I'm human and slip sometimes.

That and only that, is the main reason why I've refused to post the information here- as it would do no good anyway, because it *always* turns into a mess like this everytime I try and you'd find a way to discredit that for the same reasons posted above. The folks who call here and are respectful to us on the phone when they request the information they seek, we gladly give it to them- which often takes 30 minutes of more to cover everything sometimes. Heck, we've had 3 C6 differentials sales just from folks reading this thread this week so far- and this is only Wednesday.

I seriously doubt we'll ever change the way you think about anything, no matter if the data is presented before you or not, because you're far too involved with your own self preservation to even entertain the thought of learning something from someone else- especially from DTE. That's ok, as we're not out to change the world.

I'm not sure where we ever got off on the wrong foot with you, since you've purchased our products before for your own cars, but you've obviously got something to prove to yourself if you're willing to work this hard to discredit a company who's continued success/double-digit growth year-after-year to date speaks differently. Just an interestiing observation, nothing more.

EDIT: By the way, we're rebuilding our outdated website now for the remainder of the 2007 year and since there seems to be so much confusion over what model fits what and we seem to get no where on this board in trying to publish that information after multiple tries without a fight, we'll build an informational page that outlines everything we know thus far as far as fitment applications. Hopefully that helps those that want to learn, without them having to sort through this sillyness to get the right answers.

Why don't you just do that, to the benefit yourself and everyone else here, instead of some childish tirade like the one in your last post?

See, this is what I'm talking about and who wants to help *anyone* with facing rude attitudes like this? Would you want to help anyone who's outright crass to you on a public board? I doubt it...

Nothing in my previous post was "childish" in the least bit, as I posted in an open-minded, level-headed fashion. Yet the thread always digresses to negativism like this no matter how I reply.....always. Good or otherwise, as everything is taken out of context to fuel the fire on these boards. As already clearly stated in two different posts I've made over the last couple of days...

Phil, I think you've just proven my point.
But who am I to judge? I'm only a volunteer social worker.

Take this thread ( and also This ) in to a real therapist and ask for comments.

Sometimes that's for the best for both parties just the same. Best of luck.

Yeah I think it would be best for every hard working Vette owner to find someone else without your attitude.

I have, thank you, which is why I took the extra time to post in the first place. Actually I do have a couple of extra hours, as I typically don't leave the office or the dyno cell until 9-10 pm each day due to our heavy workload. The locals don't like a loud car screaming on the dyno too well that late at night.

On the contrary...we are in it for the long haul and our positive reputation we've built for ourselves to date since our inception 6 years ago is a testimate to the fact that we do in fact help the "little guys". As also stated 3 times now, we'll post the information that you seek on our new webpage that we'll specifically dedicate to fitment applications, just to "help the little guys", as you've requested. It just won't be in a thread like this because as also stated before, the thread *always* turns to this mess everytime we try to post about this topic here.

Hope that helps.
