Reason: added 2nd time
see thats what I don't get with all these people on this forum, your mph are nearly the same no matter what your et is...good driving is why he ran a 12.0 not the 118...the more spinning the higher the trap speed...hell when I roll out I trapp high 115s but when I run 12.5s its @113-114...
sorry i thought i filled the profile part out its just a bolt on car with a tune headers, varam, borla stingers, and the tune car put down 370rwhp
Great times but in another thread you said your car dynoed 390 or was that your old car?

In my experience with a tuned bolt on only car my MPH is dictated by how quickly I shift - and a faster launch does usually lead to higher MPH in my case almost without fail (I tend to get PR e/t and MPH on the same run). I haven't looked at the 1/4 mile list, but I think he might have the record for MPH on a bolt on only car with no aftermarket gears. So my point above was that he must be capable of banging some gears to get that MPH on a 2.0 60.
I'm also assuming that he made the run on run flats, which is why he's got a 2.0 and 1.9 60... which also makes the MPH impressive, since drag radials (17 m/t's anyway) are an inch shorter than our stock tires and thus provide some gearing help to the car.
sorry these runs were made on c5 17inch z06 wheels with mickey T's car was redynoed on different dyno at 370 seemed low to me but whatever thats what it read.
Started launching at around 3500 and it would jump out and bog so i went up to 4k and still bogged i didnt want to go any higher because i figured id be pushing the limits of the rear. Tires were set at 21psi
