I bought B&B's used last month and just sold them to another member this week. I'd suggest you consider buying used. They are only new till the box it opened, and if you can't handle the drone you'll be out at least $250 if you resell them later on. Bullets are an aquired taste, very loud, tons of drone.

I just sold mine for $450.00. Check the C6 Parts section for someone local to you that's selling them.

I just put a set of these on myself. If you've never rode in a C6 with them, take a ride first and make sure they arent too loud for you. I'm sure there is a forum member in your area who would be willing to accomodate

The problem here is what everyone considers loud! I guess I'm in the category of liking something that's loud without being ridiculous. I do not want to be flagged down by cops left and right. I do not want it to sound like the world is ending. I want it sound just shy of either one, and when I need it to be quiet (not mashing the pedal), I'd like it to be.

And if we're trying to nail down the relativity of loudness here, I'd say the stock exhaust is a loudness level of 3 on a 10 scale. What I'd really like to know is were you in the market for a loud exhaust and this was even louder than you'd expected. Or were you expecting something moderately loud but were then like "oh @#$!" when you heard it? I guess what I'm asking is, is it impractically loud?

I will sell you mine for $500. Only have 5000 miles on them. Check out the video below to see how loud they are. Don't forget I have headers, no cats and a cam so it is louder than stock with just the bullets

There is a big difference when you add headers and no cats to Bullets. Bullets are not that loud on a stock C6, its the frequency that booms. Think of it like music, some exhausts have a higher frequency (more treble, eg Corsa) and others have lower frequency (more bass, eg Bullets).

Put it this way, people from hundreds of yards away could tell I was coming down the street while in the 2-3krpm range. When I would start the car at night, I had people tell me it scarred the crap out of them and woke them up, the drone inside was nuts when on the highway and after a 30 min ride my ears were ringing like if I got out of a rock concert.

That sums up the B&B's in my expirience. They sound amazing, but they are wicked loud in every. Ended up being just too loud for me to remain on the vette......a long highway ride would be tough to put up with. Keep in mind the headers made the B&B's even louder. On a scale of 1 to 10, they are an 11.

Corvettes of Houston is where I bought mine--West Coast Corvettes had them for roughly the same price. As I recall, I payed ~$730 including free shipping. Absolutely LOVE them! Best sounding exhaust since back in the day. The pop and burble on overrun or drop throttle is music to my ears. Plus, they are gorgeous. Highly polished, too nice to hide under the car.

I've read this thread and many others and I now it's all about tastes, etc... but seriously, will Bullets w/ headers and no Cats be flat out too loud on a daily basis?

You'll grow tired of it. As others have said, drone grows old fast.
