The mods I want.........
I have a new C6 vert and looking for the extra zip.
I have added the Corsa sports for sound and Vortex ram air for
the cold air induction BUT this is the small part of the mods.
Looking for input on adding the following..............
Kook's headers
Hi-flow Cats
Ported throttle body
Ported Manifold
all this with HP Tune and Dyno
* Any educated guess on what I could expect for HP gain on total
mods over stock?
* Does this look like a sound plan?
* Will I have any sound
(drone) issues in the cabbin of the car.....
It can't be so loud that it pisses off the Mrs.
* Do I need the Ported TB/Manifold.... any real gains from this?
What ya think as I'm about to set a time up to get 'er' done

I made 383/379 with these mods and no cats.
Vararam+ spacer
ported tb and manifold
Stainless works headers
offroad 2.5" x-pipe
factory mufflers
tune
running 12.5a/f on a dynojet (rich due to VR leaning out at speeds)

Your Corsas & CAI have given you 15 RHWP already. Headers 20. Get a FAST Intake w/ported TB will net you 25 more. The TB is iffy maybe 5 at most for $500.
That’s a great plan. Your best bang for a Seat of The Pants (SOTP) feel would be gears. $1,200 installed. Don’t know if you’re MN6 or Auto. I think the Auto guys do 3.43 from 2.70 but MN6 w/4.10 rock.
Leark and listen. Lots of good and some not so good info here. Make your decisions carefully and slowely. As for your Bride - IT's YOUR CAR - life is too short - do what you want. You've been together a long time, she'll understand.
