When I push the A.C.switch the light comes on for 2-3 seconds then goes off,it doesn't flash.The compressor clutch doesn't kick in.The fuses,relay are good and outside temp. sensor is reading correct. Any ideas? Thanks

Although may not be related but… on my 07 if I killed the AC with snow flake button and pressed it again to enable AC it does not always turn ON unless I hit AUTO button then it’s good or working.

There's a high pressure cutoff switch on a/c systems which sometimes goes tango uniform. May not be the case, but if it failed in the off position, it wouldn't let the compressor run. Easy test--for someone who knows what they're doing, and fix I've heard. Good luck!

well sorta. yes, va. is right next door. we almost bought a house in moutain city, my folks live in elizabethton, my avatar is me on the bristol speedway (the worlds fastest quarter mile ) during the tennessee state hog rally, and stafford/fredericksburg va isn't really that far.
i'm suspecting it should be a quick fix for the a/c issue but then again....
shouldn't cost much more than $50 to get it checked, imo, your dealer should be able to do a quick pressure check for you as a 'courtesy'.
